New manuscript on the arXiv

We uploaded a new manuscript focussing on electrocyclic reaction dynamics on the arXiv

We are continuing our series of studies into the details of electrocyclic photochemistry using ultrafast electron diffraction experiments and ab initio multiple spawning simulations. In our new study, we observe structural information about the pericyclic minimum, the “photochemical transition state” of an electrocyclic ring-opening reaction.
